Assistant Director, Event Coordinator & Board Secretary

Executive Director

Denise has been involved with Mystic Mountain Training Center since its conception. She has served as a Board Member, Advisory Council Member, Horsemanship Director, and Executive Director of the Training Center. Denise has a passion to teach children about the love of God through horses, leadership development, and outdoor education experiences.

Operations & Maintenance Director

Bill has been involved with Mystic Mountain Training Center since its conception, owning the property that Mystic Mountain sits on. He has served as Treasurer, Canoeing Director, Adult Supervisor of the Challenge Course, Advisory Council Member, and Director of Operations and Maintenance. He currently owns and operates two small businesses in Edinboro and Erie. Bill has spent endless hours designing and building all of the Mystic Mountain buildings.

Young Explorers & BTB Director

Jess was a founding member of our Board of Directors and has since served as a horse instructor, photographer, administrative assistant, and is currently director of Young Explorers and the Beyond the Blue theater program. She graduated from Mercyhurst University with a degree in Business Administration. In 2006 Jess married her best friend Matt Maynard. She now homeschools their three children, while also writing plays for Beyond the Blue and other children's books.

Assistant Director & Event Coordinator

Marie became involved with Mystic Mountain in 2017 during the construction of our Event Center. Here is where she met her husband Caleb and got married in January of 2018.

In addition to raising her two children, Marie serves as our Assistant Director and Event Coordinator. She handles the booking and registration of events, weddings, classes, and camp registration.

She also serves as the director of the horsemanship program during our summer camp season. Marie graduated from Malone University in 2015 with a youth ministry degree, and also has spent many years as a worship leader. Her love of Jesus, adventure, the outdoors, and animals makes her a wonderful addition to MMTC.
