We believe in the power of volunteering. Our summer camps and group programs are made possible by the dedication of our amazing volunteers. From leading activities to mentoring campers, our volunteers play a vital role in creating a memorable and impactful experience for everyone involved.

Our horses play a key role in what we do here. For the many horses who call this place home, Mystic Mountain offers a safe haven, a gentle hand and a life of purpose. Our training and riding methods are based on the theories of natural horsemanship, which utilize quietness and patience to communicate with horses in their own language. We strive to develop trusting relationships with these magnificent creatures. Please consider sponsoring one of our horses.

Twenty years ago, I was a part of the original team that started Mystic Mountain Training Center's Great Adventure Day Camp. I was 12 years old and absolutely loved the opportunity to learn leadership skills, how to connect with kids, and grow as a young individual. It was through my experience instructing and serving at MMTC that I discovered my passion for camp ministry, that God had placed a calling on my life to be a spiritual leader, and that I had valuable skills to offer. As an adult, I now have a career in camp ministry and I know first hand the positive impact that camp has on individuals.

Thank you so much for letting us come to Mystic Mountain earlier in April for a service project grooming the horses. We had such a great time! Melissa and Josh were fantastic leaders. Some of the students had never had such close contact with horses, so they really appreciated the opportunity to bond with these beautiful stories and backgrounds of your horses and participating in the group story-telling activity. We had an amazing time and hopefully we can volunteer for you again! Thanks!

Our FOUR children have attended Summer Camp at Mystic Mountain for years and it’s one of their all time favorite weeks of the entire year! Camp takes their love of God, animals, and the great outdoors and meshes it all together for one INCREDIBLE and UNFORGETTABLE week among friends! 


My husband and I are thankful for the caring and attentive staff, the lessons they teach the kids, both biblically and skill set wise and the fun, high energy environment they create while doing it!


Mystic Mountain is more than just a camp to our family-it’s a tradition that we hope to continue for years to come!
