On January 26, 2025 we lost our Horse Barn in a devastating fire that destroyed the entire structure and all of its contents.

Thankfully, all the horses were outside and unharmed. At the time of the fire, no one was home, but a neighbor noticed the smoke and came up the driveway, subsequently calling the fire department. The horses are currently being housed in the Event Center until a new barn can be built.

Mystic Mountain Training Center has played a pivotal role in my life since I was a small girl. I began attending camp in some of its earliest years of establishment in the early 2000s. It didn’t take a lot of convincing for me to love camp, I got to ride horses, kayak, and talk about Jesus. I was naturally in my element there and it was arguably my favorite place on earth.
